Others' Rates

The average price for guitar lessons in Phoenix is $60/hr. Other expert instructors often charge $70 per hour, or $35 per half hour. Also, many require monthly or quarterly payment in advance. I sincerely believe you cannot find better lesson value anywhere else.

Forms Of Payment

I prefer cash, Venmo, or Zelle. I also accept checks VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, or PayPal.

Duration

My lessons usually last 60 minutes. Most other instructors give half hour lessons. While this may be cheaper on a weekly basis, most students find half hour lessons far less helpful. My method is quicker than others, so in the long run I can save you a great deal of money. If 60 minute lessons are impossible, then I can provide 45 minute lessons. This still has better results than taking lower quality lessons. The first lesson is always 60 minutes.

Frequency

Lessons are normally scheduled once per week, and starting times can be scheduled from 1:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., Sunday through Thursday. Students normally keep the same time each week.

Makeup And Irregular Appointments

It is also possible to take lessons during what I refer to as a makeup times. Often time slots open due to vacations, illness or other reasons. If you would like to be on the makeup list, appointments could be scheduled on a week-to-week basis. The frequency is usually once or twice per month, depending on your availability.

Refund Policy

Any lessons purchased in advance are non-refundable for any reason. This is standard practice for music studios. You can always purchase one lesson at a time. You are never under any obligation or pressure to purchase more than one lesson at a time.

Gifts

You can print out gift certificates here. If you wish to purchase a gift package for someone, you do not need to pay in advance. You can send payment with the first lesson. If you desire to pay in advance, you can remit payment by PayPal to 'gtrmichael@cox.net'. Please include the recipient's name in your payment. You can also contact me to arrange another form of payment. Please be aware that there may not be immediate openings, and there may be a wait required for a regular time. Any lessons purchased in advance are non-refundable for any reason.
